Ah it's great when jealousy surfaces like this. Don't be mad you bought the "blue" that was so unpopular, they took it out after one production year.

 

They couldn't pay me money to take a LB car. Arrival was around I believe for 3 production years, about the same as LB. It was not a Cobalt-exclusive color.

 

Arrival Blue was around for 2005 and very early 2006 model Cobalts. One production year of Cobalts. It was teh poo. Looks like faded cheap-o paint.

Silver front bumpers seem to be a hot commodity. I have seen 3 or 4 people looking for them on Craigslist.

 

does anyone know how long it takes for a car posting to publish on craigslist?

Ouch. Haven't heard of any around. I need new bumpers, and a new lip wouldn't hurt either. I think I'm going to end up going the pay-a-bodyshop-to-fix-what's-there route.

 

I destroyed mine. Not much to save. So my car looks like a 2.4 SS with a intercooler sticking 2inches below the bumper. I found one on gmpartsdirect. Its like 220. I just wish I could find a carbon one.

 

Anyone local potentially looking for a TVS with about 2,000 miles on it? 2.8" and stock pulley with it.

There is a very slight possbility I may trade in the balt sometime reasonably soon and if so I'd be looking to get rid of some parts. I also have a Carbon Creations OEM style hood that would have to go, projectors, etc, and basically anything else I have of value.

 

I still have Corey's old sport red lip. It's kind of busted up. Haven't had the time to try to fix it up.

 

So, do any of you run Track days or Solo events with the local SCCA? I'm thinking of finally AutoX'ing the Cobalt next year, just wondering if anyone else does.

Im going up to Beaver Run in the spring and take the Road Race driver course. Its a really nice track. They have an big Auto X area which they run some events on. I tried it out and had a blast. Cant wait to get up there after all my winter mods are done. Now that I have the GTA for the drags I can set the Balt up for all out road and Auto x
