Sweet. What area of Pgh you heading up from?

I'm coming from the south hills, near Century III. Def. NOT going up 22. Last time I sat about 4 mi. from PRP for about 45 mins. Gonna head out 51, to 70, thru Greensburg.

Isn't PRP right past the 981 intersection at New Alex? I drove 22 every day last week and I still can't remember!!!!!! If 22's really that bad, I'll probably just take 286 and cut down to 22 there. I know a LOT of side roads.

I'm up for spectating, but like I told Brian, aside from auto-x or track days (for which I have r-comps) I can't do anything to tear up my tires. I'm trying like hell to make the Pirellis last until winter tires go on, but it's not looking too good right now. I have 18,000 miles on them now...so I'm looking to stretch it to 25k or just over...and we all know how well the Pirellis hold up...

Last time I went, I found spectating almost as much fun...

...and I did a lot of it, considering I didn't know what bracket racing was, dialed in @ 14.5, and ran a 14.4 lol

Well... NOW you know what to do... so you learned something. And now you won't do that again.

Alicia... you could always put the R comps on in the front up there. heheheheheheh

I got 25+K on my OEMs, but I only auto-x'd once.

I'll be there for sure tomorrow, but depending on the heat, I don't,know if I'll run.

Not going to be able to do it. I have to get some brakes for the car ASAP and some other stuff has to come first as well.

Sorry man, it IS a good deal, but just not the time to spend.

I'm in need of new brakes, too. Stealership quoted $460.

Er...

Just buying the pads and doing it myself, and a friend w/ an auto shop is turning the rotors.

If I was more interested in drag racing, I'd consider it, but with as much as I love to auto-x and road race, I'd rather save my good tires on that.

I want to try drag racing, but not as a regular thing. Maybe once in the Cobalt just to see what it'll do. I went a few times back in high school, but it never really grabbed my interest. Then again I come from a family of dirt track racers...so who knows, maybe I'm just not genetically inclined for drag racing.

Yeah Jon, I'm buying AC Delco blanks and still shopping around for pads. I've been on the fence about a few different brands and types. We'll see. I'll do them myself as well. Still not going to be cheap.

I agree Alicia.... you're better off keeping them. As an aside... just don't let yourself have any wheeelspin, and your OEM tires will be fine...

See yins all at the track tonight.

Still undecided about running. We'll see.

I'm heading out around 4. Just finished detailing the car

I refuse to do 22 again, so heading up 70 thru New Stantion. If anyone wants to meet up, cool, but I think that's outta the way for most people?

Gates open @ 5:30...I'm planning on gutting my car as much as possible. Dan's converted me to dragging

YOu guys can also hit 66 off of 30. Or take 119 the whole way. Or 981....any of the above options will work.

Ok... guys I'll be there @ roughly 6...

See yins there... I won't be running, but I WILL be the resident photographer tonight.

Too hot for these cars. My SRT Friend isn't going due to that as well.

See ya

I will be spectating and arriving in a similar manner as Brian.

Um, given my track record in following black Cobalt SS/SCs....do you want ME to lead?
