I was losing .7 sec on each run due to my cables last night...i would have been low low 13s instead...car goes in next wed

Luigi.... I agree with the group here... until the guy actually puts up, or shuts up... he has no merit and "rep" within to say otherwise. Look how frakkin hot it was there this week. Everyone was running about 1-2 tenths slower... even the FAST FAST guys. Dano's future wife was running mid-12's and she was running 12.2's the other week.

You and Dan (RL) were not far from the 13's and wait until Sept., and see the times drop.

THREAD HIJACK

Dan (Paz) i had that interview yesterday and i was all good till some younger dude walked in and decided to break my ***** on a good many questions. He decieded that he would hone in on all the subjects that i either had no experience with, or didnt pertain to the position i was applying for. That was messed up . Instead of finding out what my qualities were - he made sure everyone knew what i wasnt capable of.

 

Do you know what his name was? What was the position they were interviewing you for? Don't worry about that either. They asked me a bunch of questions on the stuff I didn't know about. I think they do that to see how well you can think on the fly. They like to see your reasoning and thought process.

I walked out of my interview thinking, "man, they'll never hire me after that." Here I am today, posting from my cubicle about 100 feet from where they inteviewed me... lol.

 

I'm up for anything as well. I have no firm plans as of right now. Today is payday, so I got little cash to spend. I might get some food tonight.... Mr. Mike's, TJ's something like that.

Anyone want to join me, they are more than welcome.

I've actually thought about heading up to Erie on Sunday for the day, but not sure about the weather. PLUS... gas is getting insane...but hey.. it's only money.

 

I think I'm headed out of town too. I think I'm going to State College afterall, so anyone up for a last-minute road trip let me know.

BTW, I ended up getting a call from Jeff and he offered me the position i applied for @ MSA. Someone from HR is supposed to call me on monday morning to officially offer. Now i have to weigh options between Mellon Financial and MSA.
