Yhea hot air witch is less dense. And i belive the stock air box has like a tube that gets the fresh air from the fender. Is it going to hurt anything ...... No. Will it increase hp..... Def not. Ur best bet if u dont want an actual ontake is to just get a drop in k&n filter

 

yea thats what i was gonna do along with the mod because i do want some sound and it will hold me over untill i get an intake
