I think I'm going to go to that on Friday. Jeff, the guy from the shop, said they will probably be there that night.

Alan, I'll be leaving the house shortly after 5PM if all goes well... 5:30 at teh latest.

Since I'm already way off the path everyone else goes, I'm not sure me meeting anyone ( unless it's at Sheets in New Alex. ) is doable for you guys.

See yins all up there.

OK, I know we tried for Monroeville last week and a water main break kinda ruined that. I was just checking to see if anyone wanted to try again in case some new people that didn't know their way n'at.

Here we go....another flame shooting, gas spraying monster how long before you finish the rest of the exhaust? You might be able to get away with doing the 'axle back 2.5" with a new muffler' unless you're looking to go 3"

Can you buy 100 or 100+ octane fuel at PRP? I can't remember...

If not, has anyone found any place local to get some? I used to be able to get TurboBlue locally in Kittanning and 100 octane at Citgo probably 2 years ago, but neither place carries either of them now.

I'm almost positive that there is a gas station or two that sells it on the way up on 22. Not sure which places. The place I KNEW sold it isn't there anymore, at least I think... that area has changed sooo much in the last few years, that i don't recognize it anymore.

You want to runn 100 oct in the SS????

I'm probably not going to meet anyone, I am just gonna head out after I am done with the other crap.

I plan on keeping my exhaust this way until after I get a new clutch. The sound is growing on me.

I think PRP has 105 or 115 octane, can't remember. But it's leaded I think.

Well, in the redline, 100 octane during the summer will help reduce knock from high temps. I'm gonna head down to PRP in the fall, but if temps are high still (80+) then the track will probably be 90+ and 100 cotane will help a ton.

BTW everyone - I mentioned Turbo Blue - DO NOT RUN THIS IN YOUR CAR!!! I used it as a reference since people recognize the name, but it's leaded fuel and will screw up your O2 sensors and cat (if you still have it )

Yeah, that's the problem. I was almost positive they had leaded fuels but couldnt remember if they had unleaded.

now that I think about it, probably a mile or 2 toward delmont on 22 at the intersection of 22 & 819, they used to have VP Racing fuels. I wonder if they still do... I'll have to check it out.

OK.... you're new to the area... so this might be tough to explain...

UNLESS you know the basics of the area...

If you know how to get to the MONROEVILLE exit of the TPK, then you are fine...

from teh burgh...

take the parkway ( 376 east ) out until you get to hte turnpike, but DON'T get on it... take the 22 ( Murrysville ) exit. You either go left onto 22, or right onto the pike... no choices.

Follow that road thru Murrysville, thru Delmont and so on...

Once you pass these 2 landmarks... GRABIAK Chevy ( on left ) and SHeets ( on right ) @ the same light... you're about 3/4 mile away...

Follow that up the road ( construction.. so 1 lane ) and once you get past "Cheaters show bar" .. ( strip club ) on your right you have about 1/8" a mile and it's on your right... basically it's at the top of that hill... you WILL see a sign but it's not a huge one. The road kinda creeps up on ya.,

Doors for TNT open @ 5:30 1st runs are @ 6:30

Admission $20 to run.... $7 to watch.

Depending on the amount of cars... you get between 3 ( last week ) and 5 ( all the others ) runs in for the evening. Then they have teh actual racing after that.

Hope that helps.

You won't regret it, I had no interest in autocross or drag racing until I started meeting up with people from these forums. Its addicting.
