I'd say go for it. Hope the 2.2 is easier to get to than the S/C cars...

Well worth the 36 bucks from summit racing.

Can't wait to hear the cars tonight at the track.
Luckily my air filter is right in front & up top, should take about 30 secs to swap

I think I am gonna get one. The one I had in the S10 did improve is throttle-response a bit, and like you said, there was a difference in sound- just enough, not raucous though.

I think I'm coming up tonite. Need to get-out for a while!!

DEfinately feel the difference in throttle response. Nice enhanced whine of the SC under load.

Wit... love how you "fixed" my comment.. I had to think about that one... I didn't think I put that in there.

See you all in an hour.

No, my best is 13.76 I believe. I ran that last time. I finally know how to launch the car to its sweet spot. I ran a 13.8 right after that 13.7 but I got massive clutch slip in 2nd. When I get the new clutch in, I should be able to get 13.5 - 13.6. Now that I actually know how to launch it right, I am starting to get wheel hop Now the traction bars and airbags are starting to look good after the clutch. I might actually get those first since I am gonna wait for the exedy clutch.

Slow boy here ran 14.990 @ 96.16 - Not my best time, but the best last night. I've had a 14.93@97.8 before.

SO... since the TNT is over.... what is everyone's predictions for tomorrow night?

It's looking to be very humid Friday ( chance of rain as well late ).

I'm HOPING to keep in the 14's most of the night.

1 thing I need to remember though.... with better throttle response comes more patience. I cut 2 good lights ( .093, .254 ) and 2 REDs ( -.097, -.034 ).

Oh... and if I DON'T get into the 14.8's... I'm driving this car right into the sand pit!

Boy-eeeee

( god, that kid is a tool )
