Yeah, all the fun happens when grandpa isnt' there.....
Whew.... got the brakes on... just for those who haven't done the back themselves... you DO need a special tool to compress the piston. Yes, I'm sure you could rig something but the tool is nice. I'll look around and see where I can find one and how much. My bud had one.

OK.. car is stopping much better, but the pedal is a tad soft. But got better as the ride home went.

Ran my first skittle, FTW.
Pisses me off how fast those things are though. Only had like 2 cars on him, plus he started in 3rd, have a hell of a system in the trunk, and said he wasn't completely on it cause that spot in 30 is bad. I wouldn't have felt bad if he said he had stage 2, but no. All he had was intake/exhaust. All I have done to my car, and it just takes them intake/exhaust and they would probably hang even with me. Bastards....

Ed and I were just talking about this the other night....
He said that one night he wants me to line up with him at the track...
I said NOOOOO f'n way... Even with him being stock before the upgrades before he would've walked all over me stock. NOW>.... I would be nervous to run him in a vette once he gets a clutch...
It amazes me the amount that you can do to those cars and have them be THAT fast.
1 thing to remember... at least you can sleep better knowing him that you would beat the snot out of him on a track where you have to turn. Unless he's gone all out and did some goood suspension tweaking.
Oh well.... 2 more days and I get to let the WRX's embarrass me.

The guy was cool though. He stopped by and talked to all of us last night. He is up the track a lot with his Iroc all the time. We might have seen him before.
Oh well my first srt race and it was a victory!

Ok...So did you have the Underglows on during the race?? they add about 1/4 of a car length....
