it looks like i am going to make it. i got the shortblock together lastnight (after a deep cut on my finger and a **** load of frustration). we just need to put the head on put the engine in, wire some new stuff in and then tune for the w/m kit...cant wait

What time are we going to meet up on the 10th? I'm getting a hotel room Friday night(9th) that is on RT 37 in Toms River. I'll still drive out to where we are going to meet.

 

So far, cavy-to-ss will be picking me up in his Cobalt since mine will already be at TTP. Were leaving at 8:30 AM to try to be there for 9:00. Since Andy won't be joining that day, we don't have to meet up beforehand if you don't want to. We were originally going to meet up at the RT. 70/73 Circle, but I don't think anyone else is coming from down here near me. Edubs is also coming around 11:30 I think he said, but he's coming from way out in Albany.

 

Hmm. I'll probably meet you guys at TTP then. I'll just have to figure out how to get there on Monday or something.

 

Yea it would be way out of your way to come down to us and then drive all the way back. I still gotta Mapquest it to get the directions for getting there as well. And we should be there between 9-9:30 I would think, I'm going to be anxious to get back to my car .

Installs will not be done on Feb. 25th, the actual Dyno Day. However, some other Cobalts including myself are going on Feb. 10th for installs, tuning, etc. You can set up an appointment with TTP at any time.

 

I thinkI'mgonna bail on the dyno day, I got my header in late and I'm in Maine now so my HHR won't be ready (where I want it anyway) for the Dyno just yet.

Yea, figured less people would have to go to work, so more people would be able to come.

 

I talked with Matt and he said that is fine, but remember that Cobalt/RL owners and ss.net members have preference, so the earlier they get there, the better, or the later they get there the better. Let me know what you think.

I really hope it doesnt turn out that way, but I see that some LI guys may go to RIPP for a dyno, which would suck to have happen.

 

What is RIPP? DTM, what time are you gettin there tommarow? I'm set for 9 and I hope the tune is not goin to be hours because my ride had to work.

 

Hey man, I sent you back a PM before, didn't I? I'm actually not going until Thursday morning at 8 AM. Unfortunatly I won't be able to meet a fellow Cobalt owner. The tune shouldn't take too long, maybe 2 hours max including the set-up and dyno runs. Best of luck, let us know how you make out!
