what up everyone!!! i just dropped my car off at a local dealership this morning for them to check out the top knocking.... i have no clue what it is, hence why i took it to the dealer. hopefully its something easy and i'll have my car back in a couple of days. i'll be installing a few things once i get the car back. looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday morning

well its more of a ticking..... i dont know if you know the history of my car this past summer but.... incase you dont... i blew the #4 cylinder. returned it back to stock, took it to the local dealership. by the grace of God the car was fixed under warranty. well now i've been driving it for about 1.5 months and for about 3+ weeks it's developed this ticking in the valve cover.... towards the timing chain side. at first i thought it was something that would "break in" and the noise would go away.... well i was wrong. so i've decided that before i put these parts on and get it dyno tuned that i'd get this checked out just to be safe. hopefully i'll know something by the end of the day.

I know my car didnt like the change to the cold weather. If I start the car and park it, it will like rev weird, and i had a weird noise I never heard come from under the hood. A simple reboot to the ECU seemed to take care of it (take battery terminal off for 30 minutes, then reconnect"

 

yea it's hard to say exactly what's up with it.... but it's at the dealership now... so we'll see.
