How do you wreck a car before it hits 3k miles?
I looked at it on the net. Looks like it has a bunch of bolt-on's. My guess is that it has a tune also (because of the K&N intake). The dealer may not even know about it. I would def check that out, because if it's anything or 21 psi you might not want it. If it's a Trifecta, most likely it would be activated by hitting the traction control button twice (competition mode).

To be quite honest, that price has me a bit worried too. It's one of the cheapest in the United States at a dealer

I don't have to tell you, but others might not realize it;
The Pacific-NW is still one of the mst economically depressed areas, so finding deals there is no real surprise in my books.

If the car looks solid, dirves fine (take a loooong test drive to see if any bugs are in it), I'd say worrying about aftermarket parts or aftermarket tune would be a non-issue to me;
You can always "undo" modifications to re-start from scratch.

IIRC, GM dealers will often re-flash to stock, just incase.

To me, a K&N intake means absolutely NOTHING - it is one of few mods which does not require tuning, and has zero negative side effects ~ any other intake needs to be tuned, and (generally) causes idle issues...

Well I went and checked it out. It's pretty nice but I'm iffy about it. It has a ton of mods but the part that worries me is that it has Hahn IC piping with a welded on HKS BOV on the hot side I believe (right over the engine). Im pretty sure it has a Trifecta selectable. It ran like absolute crap when it was first started and didn't run very good at idle or low RPMs when it was warm when I was driving it. When it was idling and I'd stab the throttle, it would almost die so I'm pretty sure it's not tuned for the BOV. Once it went into boost it pulled hard though.

Mods that I know of; carbon fiber hood and trunk, K&N SRI, Hahn IC pipes, HKS BOV, AGP IC, catless DP, 3" catback with no muffler, TMW short throw, aftermarket sub and amp, I'm pretty sure coil overs, projector headlights with HIDs, etc.

if it runs that bad, give an insulting offer...

Then look into putting it back the way it aught to be...

You can contact Vince to see if it has a trifecta tune - and he should be able to tell you if it is, or if it isn't setup for an atmospheric BOV

I'd just wait and try to find one that's stock.

If I could get it for 12 I would probably do it but they won't budge from 13. I sent Vince an email, hopefully he gets back to me soon.

Another thing is the ride is rock hard, can that be adjusted with coilovers or do I need new springs?
