My luck just is not to be found. I picked the car up Wed. and I tried to get it in for a clear bra. 2 weeks ago I called the guy and tried to make an apt. he said oh just call a day or two before Sat. SOO I did and guess what.. Yep booked so I have to wait until next Sat. now. So I figured that I would have the muffler removed, called the shop I use.....They will be closed this Sat.

So I'd like to do something to the car and I'm looking for a recommendation for another exhaust shop around Federal Way/ Auburn to see if they are open.

If that doesn't pan out guess I could put the Sportlines on, or the arm rest, or the STS. Still waiting on the CIA piping so that's a no go.

I guess if worst comes to worst I can put the stock stereo back into my Focus so I can sell it. and speaking of that, does anyone want to recommend a stereo shop besides Car Toys, and Best Buy? The sound system kind of sucks in the Cobalt, I wasn't expecting that.

I was looking for today though and they are only open M-f

That's the problem, I was going to take a week off work when I got the car, but we are way too busy to do that. Everyone says "we can get you in during the week", but I just can't do that, and I work up by N lk Union (30 miles away) so it's hard to "get in" anywhere when it take an hour to drive home after getting off at 5pm

 

clear image can make you an exhaust, they dont need your car on the lift to do it...

 

right now I just want to remove the muffler, and worry later about the rest.

 

well, i have a shop near me in auburn that is open on sat, guy does good work and has worked on my car, pretty good pricing too. He could swap a muffler for you

Got it done no muffler on the car now. So if anyone with a 08 or 09 SS/TC has been thinking about it let me know and we can meet up so you can hear it.

 

What's the rush. Why don't u get it all done once by CIA? Doing just a muffler swap is really not going to do anything power wise unless UR wanting to hear your car
