local LNF's Mainly Cobalts I guess??

I know there are at least a couple of local Cobalt LNF owners that have the CIA cat back with DP. I'd like to meet up and see what that bad boy sounds like before plunking down $600, or any CB with a catted DP for that matter.

I installed my DP last night and it was way too loud for me (w/ no muffler), so I took it off tonight. But obviously since I bought it, I'll want to put it back on at some point (when there's a muffler back on the car)

So if you are up for a little meet and greet let me know

Soooo no one eh?

Darkfuzion all I can say is it's way too loud for "me" and mine was catted. When you have people walking down the street looking at you like you're an idiot, it's too loud. IMO

If I cringe when starting my car at 7am it's too loud.

I love some rumble but I can not stand cars with potato shooters coming out the back and mine was louder than that. I don't know maybe I'm just getting old here at 37 but really I want my car under 100db and that surly wasn't.

i know mine is higher

and i would suggest heading down to clear image and buying an exhaust and getting some resonators installed

That was the point of this thread......wanting to hear what it sounds like first before spending $600 to find out I don't like it.

If I'm going to install a bunch of resonators what would be the point of going with CIA for $600 + vs putting a muffler on my current stock exhaust?

cause a muffler is a restriction, resonators arent, and you will most likely only need one if not 2 midlength ones wich they can and will install as a part of the exhaust, i believe the exahust comes with one it it stock (mine did from them)

Yeah u can give it to him. U didn't think I was a cool guy lol. Yeah I put the downpipe on guys. The cars sounds a tad but deeper. The power gains is definetly noticeable. I didn't realize the stock downpipes on our lnfs had two cats on them. You know what I mean! Lol
