Mounts and springs are in!

Well, after six weeks of waiting I finally got the Sportlines and got them in. I also got the TTR upper engine mount and the tranny mounts as well. Talk about an attitude adjustment! The car does rattle a bit, but not as bad as I expected. The feel is way better than the ETD. Launches are much more solid. I can feel the engine vibes through the Hurst shifter, it feels really good! I can also feel it in the padals and in the seat. The car almost sounds different, must be a different frequency with the solid mounts.

The mounts were easy to install. I had all three in within an hour. The springs were a bit more of a challenge. they took about an hour and a half to two hours. I did get bit by the spring compressors and took a bit of flesh from my hand... OUCH! It's dark and I didn't get pics yet but I'll post some tomorrow.

I had the ETD before we built the Turbo Tech Racing Mount, and I would have to say the same thing, the car feels so much better on launches and the vibs are not bad at all. Prothane also did a great job on the tranny bushing inserts.
