NW Tuning

I need to know how many people would be interested in getting their car professionally tuned. I am probly going to be getting a local guy who does all the Corvetts and F-bodies to hook me up. Anyone eles interested?

Screw it...I am going to pick up HP-Tuners while I am deployed. That way I can just redo stuff on my own and get a lil more experience tuning with a full on system. Once I have some good baseline tunes down I can start helping others out with tunes.

Right on Tony! I would like to get a good tune. Of course it will be a while til I get my car set up with all the **** I want. I'm really interested in HPTuners, I look forward to learning how to use it.

I wish some one would jut make a hand held tuner similar to the Predator I had for the GTO. If you guys are interested I am looking up how it would work for multiple people to do a group buy for HPT. From my understanding every one gets a copie (to thier computer) and can tune their car. It turns out to be around $150 per person.

Still waititn for the word from HP-T on how this works. From my understanding every one can load the software onto their computer with a code for their car. As long as every one has a OBD cable (they sell them at the site), we can each have a tuning system at our disposal.

The brain of HPT is the cable itself which contains the codes for your car. If you share a cable you don't get to buy extra cables. Credits come with the original cable, additional credits can be added but only 1 person has the cable at a time, unless you all buck up for the full kit.
The thing you are right about, everyone can put the software on their own laptop. Only the registered owner can get the updates though.
