oil

I'm in BC and wondering if it's worth the trip across the line for oil and filters. How much for the ac delco OEM? and how much per quart of Mobil1 or other good synthetics?

Where abouts in BC??? If near the border, I'll head down with you when you want... I head down there to buy my royal purple last time... it was like $6.50/quart (better than the $15/quart sold at Lordco!!!).

I need to do an oil change soon anyhow.

I bought a case of AC Delco filters off of ebay. $35 for a case of 12.

I'm 30 min from the boarder. Wow, that's great for those filters! Where ship from? Boarder taxes?

I was trying to see if it's cheaper to drive down and buy in US. The ac filters here are 8.50 at lordco how much down there? And wondering how much the oil is down there? I got Penz Platinum for $5/quart on sale.

AC filter Lowest bidder makes

More pleats and more capacity Baldwin I buy at wholesale at 3.00 plus or minus.
Using Penz full syn Dealer changes for 15.00 If I supply the stuff.

Cheap compared to up here... even with the latest slump in the Canadian $... I got it when the dollar was at par but now that its dropped, its still cheaper... $6.50-$7.00 per quart for Royal Purple, now with where the dollar is at, its more like $8.50-$9.00/quart (or litre if your Canadian!!) which is still cheaper than Lordco's rate of $12/quart (or litre)
