how much would you guys hate me if instead of getting a cobalt i got a crx and swapped a supercharged b18 into it? lol
cuz i kinda want a project car for fun and gas prices are gettin outta hand for me even in my aveo.

Na dude, just do whatever you feel like. But if gas prices are already hurting you in the pocket book, do you really need to spend more money on another vehicle which won't make up the cost through gas savings for a long time?

Or why not find a and keep it stock for now as a DD, and still get your Cobalt? A friend of mine with an SRT did this. Picked one up for $300, 250k miles, runs like a bat out of hell. A whopping 91 hp, 93 tq. $15 to fill it up, about 300 miles to the tank.

But anyway, you are going to cause this message to appear at some point from all the haters that will come out of the woodwork.

 

im gonna buy the crx for cheap i just want a clean body crx im gonna have everything put in it....and i was talking bout gas because if i got the balt it would be my dd and having to pay 3.60 or more for a gallon of gas is killer in my aveo i can get crap gas for 3.20 and then buy small stuff for the CRX then after i get some money and stuff saved up id take out a loan to get the engine tranny ecu and all that crap.
