Starter?

When I try to start the car, It seems as though I have enough power to run the car, but all i get when i turn the key is a click, anybody have any ideas of what i can do to get this car running soon. If it is the starter, where is it located, exactly?

Ok, so I tried jacking the car up and beating on the starter while someone cranked it over. Didnt work. I also tried giving it a roll to jump it off, pop the clutch, and all that jazz. Didnt work. It is still clicking once when i try to turn it over. I also tried jump starting the car in the back and the front. Didnt work. Will someone please help me out. i have to have this car running before monday. Its my only mode of transportation to work. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

I tried jump starting it, it didnt even try to turn over after sitting for a min with the jumper cables on, still just clicked. I dont know if its the starter, or maybe the clutch pedal sensor.

Maybe have the battery tested before you go any further.

Was the connection good. And were you boosting directly from the battery or using an alt. location.

The needles twiching is your ECU shutting down...

try jumping the car again and make sure you have a good connection your ground could have been bad, you never know or your battery just failed

Tested the cables, they were good. I can take the battery and get it tested tomorrow. What chance do you think it is a starter or a clutch sensor vs. the battery

It's a dead cell in the battery. If you have a dead cell in many circumstances you can't jump the car. Just because you have enough power to run the accessories doesn't mean the battery is good. My money is on the battery. However, there is a very slim chance that it may be the starter solenoid. Get a decent battery like a DieHard battery or an Interstate battery. Don't get an Optima battery they are completely junk IMO. I have one in my Camaro and I've been through 4 batteries in 3 years.

Ok I really do appreciate it. But if it were a dead cell in the battery.why would it just quit out of nowhere, I came home after running errands, and went out to the car about 2 hours later and all this was happening

Well in short cold damages a battery and heat kills it. You live in Washington so I'm guessin you have tough winters and pretty warm summers. So your climate is pretty tough on batteries. If it was hot today that could have put it over the top. A dead cell can pop up at any time. It's not a gradual loss of power when it goes. You wouldn't have noticed it when your car was running because once your car is running your alternator runs the car and you could actually take your battery completely out of the car and it would still run...
