Transmission Fluid

Has anyone changed their own Transmission Fluid in a SS/SC? I was checking out the threads and I read this one https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/showt...ht=trans+fluid but it shows the fill areas near the axles? Is this the only way? Thanks for reading.

Yeah it is by the differential on your tranny you have to remove the left front wheel and the drain plug is the lower of the plug. You want to use sealant when you reinstall the plug. You only need 1.8 quarts

what tranny do you have the MU5 or the getrag 5?
