Ottp trans mount issues

Lately a few customers have complained of issues with the bushings in these mounts. 7 people have actually had theirs warrantied since we have started selling mounts, so this is not a wide spread issue. Others may have issues but haven't come to me about it.

We have used the same bushing for almost 4 years and the problems have just recently started showing up within the last 12 months. Possibly some bushings in our last batch weren't up to par, but I really can't say.

Some other vendors like to stir the pot and have done so on this issue. In an effort to eliminate all doubt about our mounts we will be extending the warranty on them to 2 years on the bushing and lifetime on the aluminum. If you are out of warranty we do sell replacement bushings for $6 a piece.

We will continue to use the same bushing as it does a nice job at keeping vibrations down. We will also be offering an upgrade bushing in the near future. This bushing will be a solid rubber bushing with no voids, it is made by gm.

If you would like to get your mount warrantied please email us at sales@ottperformance.com please include some pictures of your broken bushing and your 4 digit order number.

The spacers are still the wrong size. Measure the stock mount and then the width of these Ottp mounts, the Ottp sends you one that is bigger by almost 1/2 of an inch.

I have the info printed and ready to go. Just haven't shipped it yet as I have been busy. It will leave Monday and you will get a tracking number emailed.

Chris I still haven't seen those pictures? I can't help you without good pictures of what's going on. Pm me if you want to discuss it further. This thread isn't for that.

I'll get the pictures when I have the time to get the car into the air and dismantle everything again. It sucks that I need to write this but after spending $100 for a transmission mount that doesn't fit, it's just something that needs to be done.

Thanks Josh, Is the bushing just press in/out? Glad it's leaving Monday as I need for the final track day of the year on Sunday.
