TVS and Rotated Mounts, thanks OTTP
Just wanted to say my TVS came in, shipped pretty fast. Got it the other day and couldnt wait to see it. Looks awesome, installed it yesterday but ran into a issue (not with the supercharger) So i havent seen what it can do yet. Also i got the email that my rotated mounts will be here on the 16th, which is awesome because we have a cobalt meet at the castrol speedway on the 18/19th. One question about that though, heard rumors (i asked TTR as well and they denie it) But people are saying i might have issues if i tried installed Stage 2 Rotated Mounts with TTR's Solid Engine Mount. Can you confirm this? But anyways i just wanted to say thanks OTTP. Look foward to buying more stuff from you guys!
And just a quick picture of my new favorite mod (yes i know my engine bay is dirty right now)

I'm running the Stage 2 Trans mounts and the Ingalls. Should be as smooth as a glass now.

And yea in the the pic above u can see the part of the fuel rail thats apart. it wont go back on. looks like it does but it cant get a complete seal. Thought i fixed it but when i fired the car up, gas shot all over the place. Going to some Salvage yards tomorrow to find a new one. Shouldnt be to hard, Both the Cobalt SS/SC and the Ion's have the same rail

yes you will run in to troubles. i ran the stage2s for a while too see what the problem was exactly. and what it is is that the ottp mounts not only move the engine, but hold it in place a hell of a lot better than the factory trans mounts. and simple physics says that when an object cannot move one direction, it moves another. so those front to back vibes transfer to side to side. inwhich case the ttr mount will prohibit that movement. and i could visually see the poly insert of the ttr mount being pushed out towards the passenger fender. so for ***** sake i machined it out just to see how far it goes. thing damn near pushed itself about .125"-.250" inches out towards the passenger fender, vib'd like a ****, and had slight wheel hop. so i loosened up all the mount bolts, took the ttr out and replaced it with the factory mount, tightened everything back up. vibs went down, stock mount didn't push at all, and all wheel hop gone.
*not doggin' on TTR, just plain and simple they aren't compatible. i'll get pics in a second. gotta search for them

don't judge the mill job i did, wasn't goin for pretty
but the last picture shows just how much lateral travel the TTR mount allowed AFTER milling. so just think of how much force was being applied. the stock mount takes that force and dispurses it throughout itself. keeping the vibs down and the wheel hop outa there.
