what injectors

looking to buy a set of injectors. they are going into a 2.2 ecotec from an 05 cavalier (motor is in a 90 sunbird). currently we are running 42lb dsm blue tops and they dont fit properly, they are too short to fit correctly. im looking to upgrade to 60lb, what style of injectors do i need. i notice you list injectors for an lsj and for an le5, are the le5 injectors the correct length???

the lsj injectors do work, however they are the same length as the dsm injectors. the dsm injectors we are currently running dont sit properly, if they are all the way into the rail they dont go past the taper of the cup in the head. the best thing i found is putting an o-ring in the rail before the injector, but its not the proper way.

the cobalt rail may also be different than the 03-05 cavalier return style rail. the 02 ecotec used standard length injectors, 03-05 are longer, and thats what im after, in 60lb of coarse.

The 60's are a thin profile design and are pyshically longer than the 42's so if it is a length issue i do not believe you would want to use them. However i will check this to be sure.

if you have the same issue with them being too short. its been done in a cavy as well, but nobody seems to be talking much.

You would need to use ev1 ends on the current injecor harness to use 60's. There is not much information floating out there about them so it took me a while.

i did some digging last night and measured a stock 03-05 l61 injector, it measures 79.3mm overall length. upon further investigation, i found out that the 60lb injectors are a standard length of 74mm.

so basicly what im needing is a 60lb injector thats 79.3mm long to fit properly in the rail.
