Are 03's and 04's interchangable with 05's and 06's?

On the ions they are not. The 05+, on the ion, is a electric type.

But i see you have a RL version. Im getting a RL TB in for a project of mine, but i dont mind porting it and selling it to you.

But again it is a 04 ion rl tb, i dont think there is a diffrence in the 2.0 tbs... But start a post and make sure b4 u buy it.

So what kind of gain are we looking at? Any dyno info? Could we get maybe a before and after pic('s)? Thanks.

 

I dont have any dyno info, but 2 other people that have bough them from me say they notice better throttle response and you notice some more power at 4k + rmp

Here is a pic of a stock one vs a 219$ "big bore" TB (I DID NOT PORT THIS ONE I GOT IT OFF EBAY) (top). Below that is a pic of the tb i ported (bottom), as you can see it can pass much more air than the much more expensive one.



For the price it really isnt a bad mod. If you have more mods it will help more.

 

Those are have throttle cables, no cobalts use throttle cables.
