2005 Cobalt launch/sales DVD

I figured I'd post this up because this is only the second one like this that I've ever seen on eBay (I bought the other one);

If you love your Supercharged car, you would probably like this video - I believe this is the only DVD that GM made to train sales staff on the 2.2L & LSJ powered Cobalts; there is a 2nd video which is specifically for the 2008.5 LNF powered Cobalts - and i have only seen that listed once on eBay (I bought that one too).

LINK

Good luck!

p.s. - please let me clarify, this is not my listing, I ma only posting this to help someone find/bid on it because it's poorly listed

yup.

This DVD covers all the models at the time of the Cobalt's initial launch;
iirc it was:
  • base coupe/sedan
  • LT (coupe only)
  • LS (sedan only)
  • SS Supercharged coupe

It was specifically made to teach sales staff (at the dealer level) about the car prior to the car's launch, so that they could be informed on the car, and could answer any potential customer questions, as well as point out featured improvements over competitors or the outgoing Cavalier.

It's been a while since I watched mine so I cannot tell you exactly everything that is covered, but if it matters this is a two disc set;
Disc 1: DVD format, has different chapters that you can choose
Disc 2: cd-rom format; (iirc) it's got only one or two ways of playing

both discs are pretty much the same thing.

This is more of a novelty item than anything else.

I for one like collecting stuff like this for cars that I like - which is why I have both this disc set as well as the 2008.5 Cobalt SS Turbocharged set (and it's also why I posted today looking for brochures in this same section).

This is also copyrighted material, so even if someone owns this set, they cannot legally post it up on youtube(ect) because the material is owned by GM, and posting it would make you liable to face legal action... just an FYI

if you did, I am pretty sure it would have to be in at least four parts;
total running time is 39:04.

I'm not going to worry about it since you wrote this;

...
but incase anyone else cares, of the whole run time only aprox 4:00 is on the SS/SC;
from about he thirty minute mark through the 34 minute mark is the SS/SC;
since pretty much everything about the car is covered before the SS/SC chapter, they actually get alot of info squeezed into that four minutes.

Yes, I watched mine (specifically the SS/SC chapter) last night, then watched the 2008 SS/TC video (aprox 15 minutes total run time).

If anyone finds or knows of any more videos like this existing, please post up!
