I'm selling my projectors, They are the chrome ones. There are a couple issues with them which is why I am going to let them go for cheap. But as far as the lighting part of these go, they work perfect. all halos light up/eyebrows and leds... but back to the issues, i originally painted eyelids on them and somehow i must've got clear overspray on the passenger side.. you can't see it in the pics but its there. on the drivers side, theres a little section where it looks like the clear is coming off? im not sure.. you have to look close. i tried taking a pic of it but it didnt show. and the last "issue" is when i had these, somehow moisture got built up in the connectors and corroded the metal contacts that plug into the harness, so i got replacements and soldered them/heat shrink tubed them on.. anyways, onto the pics..

i have original boxes for these and one more thing i forgot to mention, i used hids with these so i did cut holes in the low beam rubber grommets for that reason. price im looking for 75 OBO plus shipping. Thanks

These are the version with more reliable halo inverters too. Although they're not very well shielded, so you may have some issues with RFI on the FM/AM radio.

How hard do you think it would be to take these apart and paint the chrome black? Only asking because I'm interested.

 

as far as taking these apart, i would say not hard at all.. from what ive read you only have to throw em in the oven for a few mins and you can start pulling them apart. or use a heat gun. but as far as painting them, i know theres a few how to's on here that will go through step by step. i personally havent done it myself.

It is like the OEM lights. Heat in the oven for a minute, cut out the sealant, then separate lens from housing.

The piece that you'd want to paint comes out.
