For sale is a 2008 Cobalt SS/TC motor minus the turbo with transmission. The car was in an accident that totaled it, all damage being to the rear end except when the car got lifted up and bent the front bumper/intercooler. The motor still runs perfect and has 46K miles. Oil changed on schedule at the local Jiffy lube using Mobil 1 and has stage sensors. Transmission fluid was replaced with OEM stuff at 35K miles. Price is $2500 shipped OBO. All the money I make is going to pay the loan off. I discovered that registering my vehicle in Michigan voided the GAP insurance that i would have got had i registered it in New York. Car is located in Ballston Spa (12020), NY. So im not trying to line my pockets, but just come out even with what i still owe on the loan. Synapse Turbo will pull the motor and transmission for me, i got quoted at $600 for that, this should also put the buyer at ease as its professionals removing it, not just schmuck like me. im hoping this will help with the sale as im trying to instill confidence in the motor arriving in a proper manner, not all birdnested up/missing stuff/beat up/etc. Also i don't have the means and space to do this at my house. You might be better off selling them separately. Not many people are going to need the engine and trans together. It's going to be a bit more of a pain having to ship 2 things, but you can probably make an extra couple hundred bucks by selling them separate!

 

Someone make an offer on the motor with all electronics/accessories [minus turbo,intake,bov,charge pipes,intercooler(have one that can be included),downpipe and back].
