Hey guys, need two replace 2 of my sleeves on my RK Sport coilovers for my 2005 cavalier. So pretty much I needed the threaded neck part with the adjust spanner/screw whatever you got as long as it's 3" in diameter.

Here is what they look like, but I know these things are pretty universal.



Notice the 2 on the left are beat up. Stripped the screw :-(

 

i have the same set up how do they ride as far as do they bounce or harsh i have not installed mine yet

 

only had these installed for about 2 weeks. they do ride with a little more bounce than my current setup (tokico dspecs / road magnet springs). but for the drop i had it was pretty decent.

 

how low was your cavalier i have 1.5 inch drop on kyb g2 struts spring tech springs no bounce but the bumps are horrible so iam trying to weigh my options and also forgot to mention that you can use the coilover sleeves from something else the difference is the quality of the sleeve more durable

2" all around. dont remember the setting on the agxs, probably a little more on the soft side. earlier agxs said 1.5" but then they were said to be good up to 2.1" i know of guys who ran 2" without problems. it all depends on your roads and driving style though. i didnt have these on long enough to give you good advice.

i know i can use sleeves from other coilovers, but WHERE do i find them for cheap? I just need 2 sleeves... this sucks, i sold these to a guy and promised to ship last week. but ive been having no luck through ground control, rk sport or craigslist as far as sleeves!!

 

hey man so to bother you again but it must be a reason we made contact i have a set of the rk sport coilovers with the sleeves and springs and the 4 o rings as well i took them off to install springs instead what are you wanting to spend i can list them on ebay for you pictures and you got shipping they are in great condition i bought from a freind he only used them for about 2 months my emailis robertlcorcoran@comcast.net these sleeves are only sold with the set i researched for you and the complete kit cost $300.00 they are ground control sleeves with h and r springs i dont have any idea how to sell them to you outside ebay without any trust as we are strangers you know but i can listen for your ideas

iam also like to mention as well iam always looking for cavalier stuff strut bars tailights the new wiring harness for the radio custom stuff like that also i will list them on ebay right now for you to see just type in rk sport iam in waldorf maryland

what did you sell the set for if you dont mine me asking iam looking for 2 rear struts as well

 

i am only looking for 1 or 2 of the sleeves. nothing else. am looking to spend no more than $40-50.
i sold the complete setup for $450.

i dont have any cavalier stuff other than a 1000watt mono amp and a cone air filter that i was going to use for my cai.

i just checked the ones i have, they are 2" id and the nuts/adjusters on them are 3 1/4" od, how long do they need to be? cuz these are about 2.5 in long

your not bumping my sale cause your dimesions on your coilovers will not work plus i am sure yours dont have a inside lip they are 4" high and 3 1/2 " outside ring these have to handle 325 lbs front and 375 rear these sleeves have to be able to handle the force of the springs if they dont they will strip and break causing damage i was trying to help him out the right way i was not going to sell them but he was in need i keep them good luck
