yes so i dont break my header. i have a pacesetter and custom downpipe and the ball flang is a leaking peice of **** so i am either going to weld together or put a new bolt together flang in place of the ball flang. only other option would be weld in a flex peice at the ball flang. i am doing all myself as i got a welder. i just wanna make sure whatever route i take i dont put extra stress on header with movement. keep em coming. i like options.

Correct, Mounts stop movement, Movement can cause a exhaust flex joint to break. Many get mounts to help with exhaust flex joint issues.
