What is DRYFLOW?

A revolutionary lifetime air filter media that delivers industry-leading filtration by using a non-woven polyester-based media that does not need filter oil to trap dirt and particulates. Element is cleanable and is guaranteed for the life of your vehicle

have ever even used a dry flow???? have you ever even cleaned one??? if so, what cleaning kit did you use??? order the special one needed? cancel this thread. stop trying to sell a clogged up air filter. or go by the kit and clean it yourself before you **** someone over

Filter Cleaning Kits FAQs...
When used properly and at regularly sceduled intervals, AEM's Filter Cleaning Systems will ensure that your AEM filter element lasts for the life of your vehicle. AEM has two filter cleaning systems, one for our discontinued oiled-type air filters ONLY (AEM's Turbo-Flo), and one for our revolutionary new DRYFLOW air filters. The part number for the DRYFLOW Cleaning System is 21-110, and the part number for our previous-generation oiled filters is 21-100.

if you could read you would see that the filter DOES NOT FIT MY SHORT RAM thats why i dont need it, so quit posting and save some face cause you are really very ignorant and dont have a clue about what a dry flow air filter it ok, im asking you nicely not to post here, next time im just going to report you thanks in advance for shutting up, and your welcome for letting me educate you in what exactly a dryflow filter is and what is used to clean it.

as for you since you like throwing money away instead of cleaning a filter that is designed to be cleaned and reused , here is some advice read the box, instructions, and know about the products that you are using, not only will you not waste money, but you wont look like and idiot when posting

lol, I have been running dry flo for a couple of years. in my balt and my rt strat. go ahead and buy a new cleaning kit that costs almost as much as the filter. you didn't educate anyone but yourself after you looked up the inforself.

and I agree with ssmokin, I will always buy a new filter. its guaranteed clean and you don't have to worry about dirt and stuff still clogging the intake. but you know it all...

so you are saying instead cleaning a reusable filter, i should just replace it, doenst that defeat the whole purpose buying cleanable filters? why would campanys develop such a technology of making filters reusable/cleanable. can you give me a good educated answer?

looks like the cleaning kits are pretty cheap

it makes it more more marketable dude. I dont care if they make a filter that you will never have to clean. I will always replace it. after you clean one its not going to be like it was the first day you got it. it wll be worse every cleaning. but go right ahead and do what you want. just my 2 cents. sorry to bust on you.

My regular AEM filter on my 350Z cleaned up beautifully...not sure what the problem is.

I blew it out from the inside, then hosed it out from the inside, waited for it to dry and blew it out again, and re-applied the oil...looked like new and performed fine.

We're not driving race cars here, a little dirt leftover on your filter after a cleaning probably doesn't hurt things as much as people are freaking out about.

my car is a transfomer, it just wont transform anymore because i ran out of energon cubes.

i think you could do better than insulting me and my car which have nothing to do with the topic at hand, you seem well educated. and really do you think that anyone would honestly think there car was a transformer? im just a fan of the original cartoon, like many other people does that make eveyone that has transformer logos on there car idiots as well? do me a favor and use the pm system if you have something to say to me about me, my car, or my sale thanks
