F35 4.05 Diff, LSD or open

Looking for a good used differential for an F35. I'll take a complete trans (cracked case or other) or just the diff, ring gear, and bearings. I'd really like the complete diff from an LSD SS/SC. But if someone has upgraded to an LSD and has a GOOD used diff for cheap I'll take it. Basically I killed my Saab's diff but the trans is in excellent shape and shifts well so I'd like to just replace the diff.

just buy the G5 trans with the LSD, only a few people have put them into the stock F35's, otherwise go to amazon and they have an LSD for the F35 (better final drive ) for like $300

I'm going threw the same thing right now I killed my diff as well but the rest of my trans is good. A member on here sold me his busted g85 f35 trans for 300$ shipped. Ripped the case apart and found out the Lsd was in perfect shape. Maybe you will get lucky and find some one with a busted case as well. Good luck to you

^^That is exactly what I'm looking for^^ If I go with a OBX(it'd be gone through) or a Quaife I'm still looking at buying bearings and possible bearing shimming which I don't want to screw with. Not to mention with the crap form the spiders gears floating around the diff I'm not sure the ring gear and pinion will be real happy anymore. Also I can get a used Saab trans locally with less miles than mine for $290 so......yeah.

Quaife has a lifetime warranty and they are brilliant. Whatever you install in your trans it requires complete disassembly, and a new diff bearing on one side. OBX cannot match a Quaife. You make your choice and deal with it, good luck.

I think if the LSD ever fails so will the differential case and spider gears.

? Quaife does not have spider gears in the conventional sense. It is not a clutch pak limited slip diff. Google Torsen or Quaife for more information.

Damn saw that too late. I'm daily driving the car and broke down and just got a used transmission. Turns out I can get a trans swapped in less then 7 hours. Practice makes perfect, ugh.
