FS: Gen 3 CCFL Projector w/ 6k HID

Tom Metcalf
Dowell, MD
PM For Q&A

Up for Sale Brand new never installed JM Auto Racing Gen 3 Black CCFL Projector Headlights with 6k HID! I just traded my Cobalt in on a G8 GT, so never got to install this Early Father's Day gift. HID bulbs are not in them yet. Have to dremel out 1/8 inch for for bulb rod to fit through bulb opening. I can do that no problem and then install if that's what ya want. I talked to JM Auto Racing (Joe) and he told me this was normal. Some come fitted and others do not. Takes all of 5 mins to do. Ballasts included and these are Plug & Play. Just need to wire LED's, and of course the Ballasts. Will be shipped in original Packaging that I received them in. Just want to recoop my money.

NEW PRICE.......Asking $265 + Shipping

So these headlights are 168.99$ SHIPPED on eBay. You're charging 100$ for the HID kit and on top of that even shipping? What loss are you exactly taking? If anything you're making profit out of them.

On other posts I have stated that I paid $330 shipped through JM Auto Racing, a vendor here on CSS. That included shipping, which was $43. Thx for your input........

I don't think "old" prices matter anymore. The other day a guy was selling used k2 motor LED tail lights for 140$ I told him its 120$ shipped brand new he said he paid 175$ and wasn't lowering the price. That's like trying to sell a '06 SS for 20k.

I understand you paid twice the amount. But you need a little price adjustment if you want to sell these. Either way, good luck with your sale. Not trying to jack your thread but I don't like when people overprices their stuff.

I bought a digital camera 1 year ago for 200$ and I sold it on eBay for 50$ just the other day mint condition. Things lose value gotta live with it.

Maybe you can answer the question since JM Avoids it and just reports me. They claim that these have HID Projectors installed. Which so far nothing can back that up not even them and these are the same "Ebay" lights. The fact that you have to "dremel" part of the bracket for the bulb to fit proves that these are not what they claim. Do you know the "HID" projector brand they install?

Dude, I should've bought from you is the bottom line. But no, they do not come installed, which is what I thought as I actually asked for them with HID's. I was also told that they were plug and play. To me, that means I get them, I swap them out, plug them in, everything works. No, you have to join wires for the LED's and the Ballasts, etc. So I was not happy about that and especially not the having to dremel out the opening for the HID bulb to fit. The brand is on the box in the picture, if that's what you're after. O'nex is the manufacturer of the bulb.

This is what I have that they are selling on CSS.....

I traded in the car last week and now own a G8 GT, so this is why I don't need them.

I know the HIDs with them but they say there different then ebay ones as they isntall a HID projector and do not use a halogen projector.

Ours we do everything for you like wiring the halos, leds, installing HID bulbs and also a OEM harness

OEM harness is installed, just the wiring for HID's and LED's has to be done by buyer.
