I ordered 10 sets b/c I can get them cheap from Hawk. I needed to upgrade my front brakes to something better then the stock units, as I am very hard on them. Relax I am a small car hobby guy http://www.geocities.com/levittownfire1/BCP.html . I work hand in hand with a close friend from http://www.moneymakerracing.com/ who ordered the parts for me. If you feel that I will rip you off then you dont have to buy a set no big deal, I was just trying to help fellow car guys out.

I dont know that these pads are the same for supercharged cobalts.
HB524F.740 is the part number.

ok cool thanks. When I spoke to my friend he was unsure (since we mostly deal with classic ford parts) of other applications. so they do fit the SS and SS/SC.

That the best price? Both sets I've bought for the front were less than $70 shipped. Just sayin.

yup thats the best price. Im not going to let my friend loose money, he get the pads for 59 a set from Hawk not including shipping, which is about 6 bucks then he has to ship them to you for 6 bucks. You dont have to buy them. Scummit sells them for 73 and turbotech for 75. And we all know how expensive scummit's shipping is. Plus Im sure scummit gets them for a little cheaper then we do. Infact it isnt even me making the profit, it will be my friend from Moneymaker Racing, to fund his team.

All Im saying is I can get a set for 75 shipped. I can order more for the same price which seems like a better deal then some places to help other cobalt owners out. the car is a daily driver for me and this will be the first aftermarket item I put on the car. If you can get them cheaper then so be it. I will just cancel the order and take the one set for myself and call it quits. I could care less. As you can see I mostly lurk around here anyway. I will just turn the mode back on and climb into the shell again.

I read thru the for sale rules and didnt see anything wrong with this post, so if your not interested in one of the sets I have for sale please mind your own business. I can understand the "looking out" for the welfare of other board members but I just can't believe that people are this uptight, its obvious alot of people come on this board and screw each other over. I belong to a slew of mustang boards and I have never seen as much negativity directed towards a "member" of a board before. but since it seems as though people get screwed over alot maybe I should ask for a deposit before I even go any further.

If I did do something wrong a moderator would have contacted me... which has yet to happen.

 

it's not being negative, it's following the rules. other people pay money to be able to sell these items here. and it's not fair to them.

I will admit I am in the wrong, but see it would have been a little easier to reply like your last post then come on here John wayne style and demand things. Like I said before I dont come on this board much I was just trying to help a couple people out.
