These came with my 08 SS, but I live in an area where the cops are strict on headlights so I had the stockers put back in. The ballast are a little goofy in that on normal daytime auto lights mode, they strobe. Turned the lights to on and the work normally.

 

They strobe because of the lower voltage that the ballasts are receiving due to drl's requiring minimum voltage.

Not sure what you payed for the but they got for $50-$90 new depending on where from obviously reputable brands are more expensive but this isnt one of the expensive kits. Is there a brand name or tag on them?

Bulbs are xgy. Ballast I am not sure. Do not know temp range as they came with the car. I have no use for them so that is why I said make offers.
