Hey my intercooler just broke and am in need of a new one asap. I would like to get a used stock one and hopefully cheap. Can anyone help me out here?

The right side end tank is what is broke on mine. I do not believe the other side will fit. Red ss I I found a brand new injen intercooler on ebay for 211 with free shipping. I am assuming shipping will be around 50 dollars. At that point I should just spend the extra 11 dollars. Thank you for your offer though.

 

since when does injen make an intercooler for the lnf? $211 sound right on par for the cost of their chargepipe.. just sayin you might want to look into that a little further

 

Yeah the photos are mis leading, injen does not make an intercooler for the SS/TC, it is just an upper charge pipe.

 

Boo I just took a look again and it does say intercooler pipes. I guess I got too excited... ok well red ss can you get me a shipping quote to 14226 please?

 

why dont you take it to chevy and get it fixed under warranty

 

i dont know if they will waranty it. i think it happened when i scrapped on a driveway. Plus im over the 36000 miles and i already took it off.

 

that blows, time to get an aftermarket better flowing/cooling intercooler!!!

 

Thsi is not covered under warranty, unless you broke the left side your fine. JB weld it up... i did and drove back from FL and still strong.

 

Well what left side am I looking at the front or sitting in the car cause if it's looking at it then it is left side. I was gonna jb weld it but there is a big chunk missing

 

Is the end tank broken on the passenger side or drivrr side?

 

If your facing the car, the left is the passenger, right driver. If you broke the left as long as you didn't screw up the connector to the IC, your fine. If you did you have to replace as you'll stat seeing trouble

 

its the passenger side (cold side). The whole thing is screwed the coupler came completly off of the end tank. I have a buddy trying to fix it now. He has a fuser and what not so hes going to try and cover the missing piece with stainless so we will see what happens. he is going to pressure test it before i put it back on though.

 

might have to do that until you decide which to get, but at this point go aftermarket.

 

I just got some like "Liquid Metal" **** and plugged the hole. 10k miles and 24psi boost later it still holds. I did just get a newer stock one. I'm coming back to Rochester, New York in 40 days and I'd sell you my repaired one, but I don't think you'll wanna wait...
