So as the title states, Looking at swapping into an LSD Trans.

Needs to be for an ss/sc or ss/tc aka F35 trans aka G85 package trans.

Im hoping for low mileage, but if its in good condition, mileage isnt a deal breaker.

Let me know what youve got

I wouldn't go with an SS/TC trans simply because the longer final drive will put more stress on your 3rd gear. The HHR SS, however, came with the 4.05 Final, just like the SS/SC's. Hard to find those though. Definitely pick one up if you find it though. LNF transaxles have a thicker case, which will help.

 

thanx Rob, Im not really wanting the final drive that is in the LNF cobalts. I would love to have the one that is in the HHR, but as you said hella hard to find so taking what I can get at this point lol

done a search on car-part.com and found an HHR SS/TC trans with LSD locally. amazing ******* price with a 6 month warranty. Im headed to pick it up in the morning.

picked it up this morning, looks to be in great shape and came with a throw out bearing, clutch pipe, clutch dist block, trans mount bracket, and the LNF shifter bracket. So def a good deal and gonna give me sum pieces I can sell and get sum of my funds back.

Be sure to order a new TOB and clutch pipe for when it goes in. Most people don't get the clutch pipe, but it should be replaced, as well.

Lol, its kool, Ive swapped way too many Delta trans. I can typically have the complete tear down and trans completely out in 45mins lol.
