LsjIon Ported m62, 80# Injectors
Bought a TVS and going with 1000's
Prices are OBRO.
ev6 80's. SOLD
LsjIon ported m62.
I got the m62 from a friend, and "rebuilt" it. It hasn't been run since the rebuild
-~65,000 miles on the rotor pack/snout
-Brand new case and needle bearings from zzp $150
-LsjIon ported the new case (leaving price off out of respect for him)
-zzp coupler $25
-zzp oil $10
The bearings in the snout seemed fine. The rotors are in great shape, and only have minor scuffs/scrapes on the flat part of the lobes (the usual spot that glides along the case)
Will come with an ottp hub, and a brand new 2.9 pulley. Snout is turned down for a smaller pulley.
Sealed with genuine GM sealant. Kept rotating it and letting it sit for a few days to check for leaks. I do have a new throttle body gasket I will include, but I will be keeping the sensor. I have the bolts for the bypass, but they aren't in the picture. Bypass is functional. The snout could use a finer cleaning if you plan on painting it, but I did the best I could with wire brushes. Taping off the case and using the small wire brush tool on a dremel would be perfect. I might clean up the snout if I have some free time.
EDIT: $375 Shipped FIRM!
I had the the openings taped off, but just pulled it off for the pictures. "no stick" my ass... haha
Looks rough, but it is much smoother than stock. Just asked him to "clean it up"
EDIT 1/29/15:
If my assembly is questioned. Anyone can open it up and reseal it for their own piece of mind for about 20 bucks. Like I said, this has not been run on a car, so I can't realistically say that it will be 100% leak free when the oil heats up. I can, however, guarantee that I am knowledgeable, assembled it properly, and it was done with care. This was to go on my personal build, so I assembled it as if it were my own.

Pretty beat up? I think they look better than 95% of the m62 rotor packs out there.
As for gains. Yes. It is typical to see a boost increase of 1-2 lbs, and a drop in iat's.
Typical power increase is generally 15hp.
A local customer of mine dyno'd 310 hp on a ported blower and ported head on his Lsj with a 2.6 and E85.
I don't do many blowers, mainly ported heads.
Alan McClure does a majority of them and has some more concrete numbers of direct swaps if you're interested.
This is the same design Alan uses.

I have your head sitting here waiting to go on still lol. I think alan does it with a machine and not by hand i could be wrong though, which is why i asked you.
Thank you for the numbers though.

how many miles are on your car? I'm not claiming these are perfection, but the condition of these rotors easily fall under the "normal wear" category for a driven car.

Take that as you will, but I am not here to hustle anyone. Anyone who sells anything mechanical implies what I said above, but rarely say it. If someone reads that and is turned off of the item, that's fine.

Alan does use a machine to port the outlet. This, of course will will show imperfections, but there is no doubt that it will perform.
07black is a good guy, I wouldn't endorse his parts if I didn't have confidence in what he's selling.
Good luck to the both of you.
Ps- get that head put on already!
