I dont have one of it on MY car, but here is a pic that is similar to what it looks like on:

 

ill take it does it snap together? i just want the piece that goes over the hood

 

The bottom part does require snaps. But the top part, on the hood, doesnt need anything. Just simply hooks on under the hood.
