PCM w/Intense prog, Adj Cam Gears, & Crankcase Bolts

This is some stuff I've been holding onto from when I was building a Cobalt SS supercharged for Grand-Am road racing. The wife says it has to go... she wants the space.

Be sure to read the "weasel words" at the bottom of this post.

PCM with Intense Racing Stage 3 programing. See pic for details - $175 + shipping or offer.

The Ecotek engine main girdle (Crank case main bearing cover) bolts are all "Torque to yield" This means that you must replace them every time you remove them if you want your engine to live. I have both sizes. These are brand new GM parts. I'm selling them at least 30% cheaper than you can find anywhere on the internet. (I will only sell them in sets)

10M Main bolts - GM P/N 11519783 (I have a total of 30 of these) - $25 per 10 + shipping
M8 Main bolts - GM P/N 11588733 (I have 10 of these) - $35 per set (10) + shipping.

Please note... everything in this posting shows the GM factory part number. If you are in doubt, check that it is what you need before buying it. All sales are final and there will be no refunds of any kind.

Will that intense ecu be compatible with a fully bolted 2.8 m62 car?

I think you are talking about using a Eaton M62 blower to jam as much as you can down into one of the Ecotec engines pumped up to 2.8L.

The answer is, yes... I think it will fit. This part fits a lot of cars including Cobalts, Ions, Malibus and more. But you should verify for yourself. The base unit is GM part number 12597520. Also, you would have to reprogram it because the Intense programing is for a stage 3 2.0L.

It's still quite a bargan. Remanufactured PCMs go for hundreds of dollars these days and you would have to reprogram any of those too.

he meant 2.8 inch pullied, not 2.8 liter. the intense stage 3 is tuned for a 2.9 inch pulley, so it will probably work fine. just would want a way to monitor afr and knock retard. not very many people have provided any information regarding intense's tunes though

Thanks for the input Southal Cobalt. You can monitor the afr and lots of other stuff through the OBD II port. Lots of folks sell the stuff you need to do this. It's an easy plug in and you can use your laptop or similar. Again, I'm sure the module will plug right in to any Cobalt, Ion, Malibu and you can dial it from there. No matter what you will need to hook-up with Intense so that you can use it with your VIN.

Did intense lock their PCM? If so, the buyer is screwed unless the VATS is turned off on the file. You can mix and match VINs, but you have to disable the security to do so. If that PCM is locked and the VATS is on, it isnt going to work on someone elses car...

you cant monitor the afr through the obdII port on an LSJ

its a canned tune ... aka just meant to get you up and running which most vendors dont stree enough. Each car is different in one way shape or form ... a full dialed in tune is the best for any car.

HP tuners will be needed to do any further tuning.

I checked the Intense web site and they state that they do not lock the PCMs.

About the no refunds... A lot of flakes are around that buy stuff and then want their money back 'cause they changed their mind. Then when you get the part back it's been trashed, broken, or fried. I'm sure you've all been there.

AND... you are right about Paypal. If you have a leit reason for the return, then you are protected. If you can justify it adequately to Paypal, then you have the assurance they will make it good. Both sides of the transaction are protected.

So, if you are concerned about the no return, then use Paypal. It's what I prefer anyway.

Cool. Then someone can make use of that PCM. Would most likely need to do a crank relearn on it, but anyone with HPT or a Aeroforce can do it.

You are correct on the "relearn". The intense web site says that you have to do that.

Here's a new pic of the PCM with a new piece of paper showing the "dpms" and date. This time it's not photoshoped in.
