The advantages is more air flow. Same as usin a bigger tb

 

a little better throttle response is what you would gain from this mod

no idea if it would fit a 2.2LAP...you'd have to research that

 

how big is it ported compared to the the lsj stock tb?

 

I think it works like this. 05-06 tbs only fit that year and the 07-up is all the same size as the 2.4 tb cuz I know the 07-up doesn't need the adapter plate that comes with ced 2.4 mani kit. Hope that helps out with the will it fit questions

 

^You're saying the 2.2 and 2.4 TB for 07+ are the same size? As far as I know, that is incorrect. The 2.4 TB is still going to be larger than the 2.2 no matter the year.

 

I think he is referring to the holes lining up?? Not size.. I could be wrong..

 

haven't compared them honestly but i would imagine the stock LSJ TB is still quite a bit bigger than this...

if you're not sure on fitment just compare the bolt holes to your TB, that should give you the answer
