Radar Detector

Looking for something that will work really good like a Valentine One or higher end device, though the cheap the better.

What type is that? Better than a Valentine One for that much?

oh and also im not sure how much reasearch you have been doing on the valentines but if you find a good deal on one, get the serial off the back from the person and go to the valentine website and check what version it is. you might have to get it updated which then might make that sweet deal turn into crap. depending on what version the valentine is programmed to you might have to pay 200 just to get the newest version on it.

if your a speeder then yes it is.
if you maybe speed once a week then it probably isnt.

ive had my ss/tc for 6 months now and every day i speed around and to this day "knock on wood" i havnt gotten a ticket.

so for me IMO id say deff. worth the 400

YES.

Protip: Call Valentine Research up directly and ask for an open box unit (Many people buy them for a long trip, then return them afterward). It'll be $350 instead of the usual $400.

That's quite a ways from me, shot an email to see if they were interested in shipping. Good deal though, thanks for the info.

When buying a used V1, always run the serial through Valentine before buying!

wireless will not be as good if you are looking for performance because they are only 2 AA battery powered.

i think escort 9500ix, escort redline, or V1 are the detectors you are looking for

I have the 9500ix and it has been excellent. very good performance and very live-able because it filters out false signal so well
