Selling system! Trading Ion Redline in Friday.......

2 Pioneer 12's w/ custom box all carpeted, 1000 watt Kenwood 4 Channel AMP, all Cables, 2 pioneer 6 1/2's rear, pioneer tweeters.......With my H/U the subs will make your ear drums hurt from pressure when turned up halfway on full bass, but my system is tuned perfectly, if i crank it all the way the car shuts off due to needing more power......Members on here can justify this system straight makes ears/heads hurt bad when turned up even halfway. $400 and ill be putting pics up in the next few days.
Reason for selling, im getting a 1.8t Beetle and system wont fit in it, box is pretty big.

One guy trades a Cobalt SS for a Civic and another trades a Ion Red Line for a Beetle.

I guess that shows that there are two ways to become a eunich.

Dude...have you seen the bi-turbo 60k beetle that outpulls zo6s? That's pretty damn sweet...though I agree american beetles are pretty much a woman's car, even with the turbo.

no there were two different 1.8t's available in the beetle. the regular trim beetles, either GLS or GLX have the standard suspension, 16's with optional 17's, standard bodywork, a five speed manual and 150hp. then in 2002 i think, maybe 2003, the Turbo S was introduced. different body kit, 17's, two tone leather, sport suspension, 6speed manual and 180hp. a pretty sweet package IMO.

regular 1.8t

Turbo S

Ahhh well guys its the GLX model fully loaded w/leather and 5M with GLI 18's the dealer threw in there for me, but im ordering the K05 Turbo swap for $1600 bucks so i will be in the 250hp range without any other bolt-ons...I couldnt find a Turbo S with less then 80k on it, but i agree the Turbo S is a sweet package and the RSI Bi-Turbo Beetle is sick. I could ship the system probably, and also i am putting pics up tommorow when its daylight out......Also a 300whp beetle would run low 12's, tourqe would be around 350wtq, I have owned so many different cars, a civic si, Mustang GT, hahn turbo'ed neon, svt focus, spec-v, srt-4 turbo'ed R/T neon, Ion Redline, Now its time to go really crazy and shock the city of St.Louis with a Beetle

too bad they didnt have the RSi in the states....however, if you can find a TT quttro tranny and drivetrain or even from an R32, you would have a little rocket.
