Stock exhaust

Guys,
I am looking for a stock exhaust to either borrow or to buy just to pass emission testing. I am located in northeast Ohio. I am willing to drive a little to get it. Let me know what you have.
Thanks
T

the catback wont make you fail emmission. its your CAT on your downpipe that will make you fail, or lack there of. I actually just passed my emissions, sniffer and all with a 3inch zzp downpipe with the hi flow cat on it. i had badmab shorty 3inch zzp dp and gmpp touring exhaust.

Yeah it is a new cat from summit racing. I just figured a stock set up coulnt hurt the testing. I know a couple of guys that go back to stock exhaust come emission time. I have tried most things now it's the exhaust. Maybe e85 through the system to lower the NOx.

im pretty sure a resonator and a muffler dont do **** for emissions. thats what the cat is for. thats why ur o2 sensor is after the cat, not after the res or muffler.

I am talking about the whole exhaust from the manifold back, not just the catback. I am pretty sure that the cat does have an effect on the emission. It is always nice to have the stock parts just to store in the garage anyway right? I am working on other stuff to help pass the sniffer test but having a stock whole exhaust set up couldn't hurt (and yes I have a cat on right now (high flow may not help enough with NOx levels). How about you just let me know if you have the part and if you want to get rid of it?

I am not set up for e85 but I heard you can run a low percentage through the system like 2 or 3 gallons with the rest being the highest quality gas and it helps because more runs through the engine and runs cooler.

Thanks again guys!

They do have to run the sniffer test if they can't read your PCM or if there is not enough history on your PCM. I have to pass the sniffer before I get to the plug in test again it sucks

A stock manifold and catted downpipe would work as well. I will also buy beer for someone who lets me use it to pass emission and then give it back. I am pretty sure i can get it to pass with the stock set up. Let me know.
