You buy the cable, you can get tunes for cheaper since you own the cable. Usually when you order a tune, they send you a cable and you have to send it back once you're done. You still have to go through Trifecta or a Trifecta dealer, but it's cheaper this way

ALL 04 and below vechicles we support are J1850 VPW.

SOME 05--07 vehicles are J1850 VPW, but MOST are CAN bus. (Mainly only the 05--07 Cobalt SS and Ion Redline, or anything with an Atlas P12 PCM are J1850 VPW)

ALL 08+ vehicles we support are CAN bus.

Since Tactrix and Red cable both support the same bus, the main difference is that Vince will probably only go with one or the other in the future. So for right now, just take your pick between tactrix and red cable.
