Issue lies on basically rep.. I have been tuning since like 2002-2003 and i tune anything and my first car was my 92/89 supra. So my rep first came from that.... 1Jz swapped and ect. Can u tune anything? Btw Im from Marysville its pretty close to u

I have only had experience with hpt. I bought a book of amazon to be honest. That got me started. That's cool. I also spend a lot of time in half moon bay.

 

I started with manage. Ems. Mega squirt. Efe live. Hondas. Chrome. Hptuners ect..

 

Thats cool never messed with the honda tuners. I try to stay in america. Even thought it comes from outside. Lol ill have to hit u up some time. To check out wat u got. I donte have a dyno tune or anything. Just straight up street tune.

 

This guy will be doing my car in the next few weeks, I'll post my experience then. From talking on the phone he seems to know a fair amount about tuning this car.

 

I sense a new "so I blew my engine" thread in the next up and coming weeks..

Ya. Lol. I think its funnier when u get a kid come to u saying "hey can u tune my turbo b16a2, it has a t60 on it". And then u go look to make sure its ok before u tune and bam the car smokes like a beast and he has a quart of oil in the engine bay... Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm really Hahahaha....

 

Ive learned that lesson lol..

My buddy had a built B16 with GT40 or 42 (yea...redic) and it spooled at almost 7k LMAO. So stupid. Was a sick 2k powerband tho.. :P

 

I need new internals anyway lol

 

Yeah butits ridic lol.. i mean most honda guys are idiots... They think bigger turbo means more power, (BUT HOW IN THE HELL WILL THEY SPOOL THIS TURBO TO GET THE POWER) lmfao!!!! hahahahah

Best of luck, OP. It's getting started that's the hardest. Building that rep and making a name for yourself with honest quality work is key... I'm still trying to get myself out there as well.

if i had another motor we could see how fun it is to tune in south louisiana with a 103 degree day. my car has sit in the driveway all day. I think someone said our weather was a pita to tune in
