i would like to buy the stock cap that shows the shift pattern i broke the clips on mine

im sure someones got one layin around......

i have the whole shift know but the leather around the bottom is a little torn up.

sorry to hijack your thread but i broke mine off too so if there is anyone else looking to sell another one just let me know. of course the first two will go to you man i dont want to take one that you were looking to get

yeah I broke mine off about a month ago but i just glued it back on.

 

You cant buy just the shift pattern. You have to buy the whole shift knob from the dealer. If you are still under warranty you can get it done for free. But I got it done under warranty and got a new shift knob and sure enough 2 months later it broke again. Super Glue is your best bet.

 

I have the whole shift mechanism, knob and top cap, if anyone still needs it, I can get it dug up and cleaned up, PM me and let me know

 

yeah i took mine in when it broke and i thought they fixed it but it was just glued on and as hot as it gets out here i have not found any glue that will hold it just gets too hot and comes off again. i am going to take it back in and bitch them out for half assing the job.

 

i would its a real pain the ass, well it just annoys the hell out of me
