I don't mean to hijack the thread, I just have a simple question. Are all the dampners universal between Cobalts? I've been looking at some and they're all listed for the SS.

yeah they are, but if you have the 2.2 like me, you have to have an aftermarket intake because the stock one covers the mount

I'll sell you my weapon r one, for 90 shipped. It is the exact same thing as the ingalls but black instead of polished.

 

I'll keep that in mind. I was really wanting the ingalls because it is polished. If I can't get an ingalls, then I might buy yours. Where is cape girardeau?

 

It's about 100 miles south of St Louis. It's a small town, but it is by far the biggest in the South East part of MO. It's South East Missouri State University's town.

 

Okay, Did this eliminate all your wheel hop? Any problems with it?

 

Well before I got it it was pretty much wheel hop every time if I tried to launch it. But after it I got it on, I could only get it to hop if I was trying too. By feathering it into first, then flooring it too early, like at 1500 rpm. So it doesn't completely get rid of any possibility of wheel hop. But only true solid motor mounts will do that, and they make your car shake and vibrate like nobodies business. But other than that if your at least a half way decent driver the damper will let you never have wheel hop again.

Yeah, still debating. I really want an ingalls though. Everyone prefers the ingalls over the weapon r.

Is that shipped? There is a vendor on here selling it for $140 plus shipping. I was going to wait on it if I had to buy it new because I just ordered the exhaust and i'm trying to get the manifold.
