That is retarded there are no speakers in the world worth that kind of money. Are the cones made of gold?

if you competed in sq, you would fully understand why those speakers are worth it. i ran focal's for years

I have heard them before. They sound good but not worth 10 times what other speakers cost IMO.

you can eq the **** out of anything and make it sound good. at one point i had a compressor, and 69 bands of eq capability in the cobalt. overkill imo, but sounded pretty good

you obviously know nothing about speakers if your talking down about Pyle pro. Like I said its completely different than Pyle. Do some research before you start talking down on a product because all you care about is paying for a name. If you hook everything up properly have it crossed over where ita supposed to be crossed at I can make anything sound as good as your focals. I've ran focals before and these Pyle pro speakers **** all.over them. If you take the time to build custom active crossovers so each speaker is seeing the only frequency that they were rated to see and tune everything playing pink noise and adjusting every single frequency till ypu get everything perfect, I can make a homemade speaker sound like your focals. If I can buy a product and know what im doing when hooking it up why should I have to pay for a name? Your obviously one of those people that think they know everything about how speakers are built and how they function, I bet I've been doing this a lot longer than you have.

I have done hours of research lately on the sub options. Re never even gets mentioned anymore lol, it's all fi, sundown, aa, dc, not in any one order.

that's because RE is "mainstream" where fi is not. people on the forums generally don't go to a store and buy stuff they buy whats online. the fi sundown aa dc are small and cater to the online community.

I originally was looking at re xxx's. I know that's what you got em, is that what you prefer or what? I know there pretty much a spl sub but how's the sq on them? I want to do one 15 or 18 built into the back seat but want the sub that is going to be loud and move a lot of air for the affect.

well the re XXX that i have is the older 05 edition. its a overbuild SQ sub really that has awesome SPL. the newest 06+ XXX is a completely different sub. they dont sound as good at all but they are amazing on the low end.

I wouldnt get another sub other then my XXX's. Ive herd alot of equipment built for several different reasons and the old XXX subs i have are perfect for what i want/need.
