nope only one place i plan on traveling and thats not for a few months....and ya figured i wouldn't have another chance to get downtown where there was no snow. supposed to be getting some snow tonight

and thanks. i can't wait to get my new lens which will alow me to take much better low light pictures.

You dont need a new lens to take better low light pics, you just need to keep the shutter open longer.

It's about that cold here in MI and we don't have any snow other than a little dusting. I wouldn't mind snow really. I'd like to do a bit of snow drifting in my car.

Well it's noon and the temperature hasn't shifted, model flaked, not too mad either but w/e.

oh i know about the shutter but the kit lens just doesn't do that great in low light is all.

we spent a good 15-30 minutes trying to figure out how to get his camera to adjust the shutter speed and stop automatically setting his ISO and other settings. It was annoying as fuuh. It was like we couldn't take it out of Auto lol

So just trying to put it on full manual? The auto P A S modes all change at least one other thing. A and S are sometimes referred to as Av or Tv depending on the camera your using. The only mode that requires you to enter everything yourself is manual.

Right, I don't think he had a specific M function, I don't really remember though he'd have to jump in and explain it.
