I got my battery grip today too. And I'm going to Calgary tomorrow and have photoshoot on saturday

Its good to see you are leaving your house. Does the bubble suit cause any lens distortion?

Since you will need a motor, I would go with a Sigma 10-20 HSM. Mine treated me well for some time.

shot i took earlier of my buddys mk3 on air, sorry not cobalt related but i had a chance to shoot his car with a good camera soo

Yea! Only one on the East Coast at the moment. I wish I could have gotten better pics, but this will have to do until this weekend.

thinking about getting a Nikon 55-200mm f/4-5.6, dont really want to spend too much on a lens.

any input?

i dont know all that much but for the price of one of those you can get a way better camera. i just got a refurbished nikon d5100 for $600

It'd be good for events where you can get close to the cars. i.e track events.

I wouldn't recommend the 55-200 for anything involving moving objects... the focusing is very very slow on the 55-200.
