HAhhaha that no where closer to the bigger nicer glass available. Add about 1 to 2 more lengths on this one. This is also DX glass compared to FX. But you can still take amazing pictures with it.

Try looking at used glass you can find some amazing deals if you look.

Loving this new circular polarizer. Makes the reflections on my car a lot less noticeable. Everyone knows how hard it is to shoot a black car, this will make it a bit easier. Also test fitting my new wheels.

It's an awesome lens, it really helps when I'm shooting drift events.

I love my D600. My next camera will def be a D4 and my D600 will be my backup.
D600 is a really good camera I just wish it had more cross type focus points and a bigger display area for those points and not like the D7000 or D5100.

I have not had a issue with the oil buildup at all. I believe that was from the early models across the country.

I'll trade you a D7000 for a D600. You can have all of the focal points you want and I can save up for years to buy 1 FX lens

D600 can use FX and DX lenses so you don't necessarily have to buy an FX lens.

That's my main reason for wanting the D600. Also because buying FX lenses would get expensive But with the DX I'll be able to work my way up there!

Yeah considering I have 6 lenses for my D7000, I would be effed from the start since only 2 of them are FX compatible.

18 - 105mm f/3.5 - 5.6G DX
35mm f/1.8G DX
50mm f/1.8D FX
60mm f/2.8D Micro FX
70 - 300mm f/4.5 - 5.6G DX

And a crummy 21/24/28 (one of them) Sigma that never takes an in-focus photo.

BUT today is the day! A visit to Adorama, a few rolls of ASA 200 35mm, a new battery, and FILMMMM TIME!

So I am finally putting together a new kit for rolling shots.

Here is what I got so far.

Three Manfrotto Super Clamps (B&H)
Two Avenger F1000 Suction Cups (B&H)
One Manfrotto Magic Arm (B&H)

Only problem is finding a decent cost for the Boom(Bar) So far the nicest one I found was about $970 for just the bar. And at that cost I could just do a cheap pipe. Anyone have a setup like this and if so what bar did you use.
