I have an MSI GT 780R
1TB harddrive, I7-2630QM, 16GB of RAM.

I might be building a tower this year that will have 32/64GB of RAM, and probably 3 1TB Harddrives, and a SSD for the OS and probably Adobe(I can do that right?)

 

Dual screens are nice. 17 inch MacBook Pro and 23 inch HP thin LED monitor. I've got plenty of room.

 

If you run the software on windows, then you could make the process use more cores and change the priority if it. Done it in the past when I've done high poly 3D renders in 3D's Max

 

My editing machine aint bad. 3.7x6 with 16GB. It does the job pretty good

Just got a NIKON D3200 for christmas so this is all kit lens and i have little to no editing experience so this is the best i could do. ill learn one day. im from sandy hook, ct and live about 2minutes from sandy hook elementary. I couldnt really get the courage to go there when everything was happening so the only pictures i have are the blurry ones im about to post within the other pics ive taken. sorry for the crappy pics but its all i got. i figured somebody would be interested atleast..

Well my desktop has a 20" full screen that is pretty good

but what's in the rig is basically a high-power i7 with 16GB of Ram and a 2GB video card

I have 3 internal HDDs and 2 external HDDs and all of my photos are on one of the external HDDs

I want to get one of those pen things though.

 

First off what is with you people and your crazy amounts of ram, I have a Q6600, a GTS250, and 4gbs of ram and I've never had trouble editing multiple photos/video with it...also for christmas I got a Rebel T3 and me and my buddy with a talon took it out for our first shot at night photography...The results were MEH, we defiantly learned alot and cant wait to try again when its warmer to perfect the skill but heres the results..also there some playing around as you will see lol

For me I run VMware and a IT Guy so RAM for VMware is important. Nice photos.

Film is still used today and you can still take just as good pictures with a nice film camera over most point and shoot and even some DSLR.

 

Yeah you can do that. I have 2 tb hard drive and a 512 SSD that I have windows on and my adobe products. I have 16gb of ram too so that helps. Processor is an overclocked and liquid cooled I7 3770k.
